The first half of the program will showcase everything from "little tyke" performances to jazz\, contemporary\, and ballet pieces.\n\nThe second half features the classical ballet\, Les Sylphides\, a short\, non-narrative ballet blanc.\n\nThis ballet\, described as a "romantic reverie"\, is frequently cited as the first ballet to be simply about mood and dance. It takes place in a woodland glade where the young man\, a poet\, encounters a group of ethereal\, beautiful white sylphs dancing in the moonlight.
